Using Young Living Vitality Oils Party 3 – Frankincense, Grapefruit, Jade Lemon, Ginger, and Lavender.

In part 3 of our 5-part Vitality series, we look at the many uses of 5 more Vitality Oils.

Frankincense Vitality (Boswellia carterii) has been an important part of many religious ceremonies, and has been sought after and traded since ancient times. Young Living’s blends, Brain Power, Awaken, and Highest Potential feature this oil from the resin of the trees in the Boswellia carterii family. Its complex, sweet, yet woodsy flavor supports overall well-being and cellular health when taken internally.
Suggested uses from Young Living:
  • 1-2 drops in a vegetarian capsule taken as a dietary supplement to support cellular health
  • add a drop to water, juice, or your daily shot of NingXia Red

Lavender Vitality (Lavandula angustifolia) has a sweet, slightly floral aroma, pairing well with rich and light foods. Often featured in sweet dishes, it can also give a new spin to main dishes, such as chicken, lamb, or even potatoes. Start small, as not to overwhelm, by dipping a toothpick in the oil and swirling around in food preparations.
Suggested uses from Young Living:
  • infuse homemade fruit jams, such as blueberry, apricot, raspberry, or peach
  • combine Lavender Vitality’s low, earthy notes with bright, citrus ones and infuse your lemonade or citrus sorbet
  • Complement your homemade recipes for shortbread, pound cake, ice cream, meringue, or whipped cream
  • balance in savory dishes with thyme, rosemary, and oregano
