White Chocolate, Cranberry, & Orange Oil Cookies!

I have to say my husband did the cutest thing ever!!!

He baked cookies for me and the kids the other night and was so beyond excited to have the guess the “Secret Ingredient”!

It was Orange Oil!!! How cool is that? #1 My hubby baking and #2 thinking of adding an Essential oil to the batch! Pretty awesome!

Please bake and enjoy, these are ridiculously delicious! Great for Holidays and all year round! I use primarily organic ingredients, just cause!

  • 1 ½ sticks of organic unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup organic light brown sugar
  • ½ cup organic white sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla extract (I like to use Madagascar Bourbon)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups organic all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch salt
  • 1 cup dried organic cranberries
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 3 drops of YL Orange Essential Oil

In the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together the butter and sugars until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla and egg to combine.

Then beat in the flour, cornstarch, baking soda and pinch of salt until a soft dough has formed. Stir in the cranberries and white chips by hand.

Roll into 1 tbsp balls and place on cookie sheet. Refrigerate the cookie dough for AT LEAST 1-3 HOURS. You can even chill it overnight! 1 hour chill time is mandatory to prevent cookies from spreading and to create that light, soft and chewy texture.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.. Place onto the cookie sheets about 1-2″ apart from one another. Bake 8-10 min. Rotate pans halfway through and allow 10 min to cool on rack! ENJOY!!!!
